Is Yahoo Directory dead?

So I don’t think that Yahoo dir is part of the new Yahoo’s Strategy.  The last time I bought I directory listing from Yahoo was 4 years ago.  I don’t remember having any issues when I bought it the last time except for my password retrieval.  (I don’t use Yahoo often so I never remember my password)  But when that was settled, I clicked and clicked and purchased a directory listing. Today, I found my category (which, by the way was not an easy task) and clicked on Suggest a Site:

I must have carefully looked at every link on this page and even clicked back and clicked on it quite a few times. Would be nice for an Official statement from Yahoo! as to what their plans are on Yahoo Dir, its been one of my fave Directories and was always an effective link.
