At WOWebsites, we believe that strong communities are built by those who serve them. As part of our commitment to supporting positive change, we are proud to offer a limited number of free, professionally designed websites to nonprofit organizations that are making a real difference in Northern Virginia.

We understand that having a professional online presence is essential to raising awareness, reaching volunteers, and expanding services. Through this program, our goal is to empower local nonprofits with the tools they need to amplify their impact.

Eligibility Requirements:

 To qualify for a free website through our community program, your organization must meet the following criteria:

• Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing for a minimum of one year
• Be headquartered in, or actively serving, the Northern Virginia region
• Have a clear mission that benefits the local community, whether through education, outreach, social services, the arts, environmental efforts, or other community-centered initiatives
• Maintain active social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) with a combined following of at least 1,000 people, as evidence of active community engagement
• Commit to maintaining and updating your website at least once per quarter (e.g., posting news, events, programs, volunteer opportunities, or blog updates)
• Designate at least one staff member or volunteer as the ongoing point of contact for website updates after launch

What is Included:

• A custom-designed, mobile-responsive website built on a user-friendly platform
• Basic search engine optimization (SEO) to help your organization be found online
• Integration with your social media platforms
• Basic training to help you manage and update your site moving forward
• One year of free hosting

How to Apply:

If your organization meets the above criteria, please complete the application form below. We kindly ask you to provide the following information:

• Proof of nonprofit status (e.g., IRS determination letter)
• A brief description of your organization’s mission and the communities you serve
• Links to your active social media accounts
• A short statement explaining how a new website will help you better achieve your goals

Once we receive your application, our team will review it carefully. We aim to respond to all applicants within two weeks. Selected organizations will be contacted to schedule a discovery call and begin the process of building their new website.

Please Note:

• Only a limited number of free websites are available each year.
• Priority will be given to nonprofits that demonstrate ongoing community engagement and a clear plan for utilizing the website effectively.
• Organizations that are selected are expected to participate actively in the website creation process, including providing content, images, and other necessary materials in a timely manner.
