Google’s Mobile Algorithm Update

Just before the weekend last week, I was browsing through my Facebook newsfeed and saw an update from Bruce Clay's page, which read: Unprecedented Google Announcement of a Mobile-Friendly Algorithm Change.  Last January we ran a special on Mobile websites and developed mobile-friendly websites for a ridiculous discount.  Over 50% in some cases. We did this for two reasons... 1) We wanted to test our skills in creating mobile-friendly websites thus the discounts, we were going to use the sites as guinea pigs. Of course we informed the clients who availed of our promo. 2) We knew the importance of Mobile-Friendly websites as Google was sending out notifications on Google Webmaster Tools about sites that were not mobile-friendly. Read the original announcement from Google, which was released last Thursday, February 26, 2015. The take away from this blog is this: If your website is not mobile-friendly by April 21, 2015. Your Search Engine Rankings will be affected. Its important to note that relevant App content will also be be represented in search results.
