Hello Penguin 2.0
I started writing this blog on May 22, when Matt Cutts, Head of Google Web Spam Team announced it on his blog. But i needed a few days to really delve into Penguin 2.0 - the latest Google Algorithm. There are quite a few ranking discrepancies that I am already seeing. ie. For our keyword, "cayman web design" we are happy to remain no. 1 but all the rankings below our website have changed. Here is a link to the old ranking for our keyword and what I have made an example of best practices (Top 3 only). You will notice that no. 2 and no. 3 have changed in this new era of Penguin 2.0 - see screen shot below.

You will notice in the previous blog that no. 3 has not become no. 3 and that the current no. 2 rank has come out of nowhere. Thankfully we are still no. 1 of our keyword and essentially that speaks to our ethical development practices and protocols. (To be continued….)
